lost my buy box due to price increase

Hi everyone,

Few day ago I updated my product price to be profitable as the stock market for gold has tremendously increase. it is with no say that my product sold on amazon need to reflect those changes, however it seems that Amazon do not take inconsideration all of those changes which is unfortunate.

I am the only seller of this product and i am also the brand register of this item. I always been the buy box winner. Since i increased the price i immediately lost it and it has been 48 h with 0 sells and also lost the prime badge.

Note: that i am still eligible for the BB.

Could anyone shade a light to this issue ?

Hello @Seller_EFvb41SRPcCmx

Thank you for posting your inquiry to the Forums.

There can be a variety of factors that comprise featured offer eligibility. I have included some resources below:

How do I become eligible for the Featured Offer?

Featured Offer eligibility is based on a variety of factors that can affect the customer experience. These factors are evaluated for all sellers, even if you are the only seller. Below are a couple of examples:

  • Type of selling plan: If you are fulfilling orders yourself, you must have a Professional Selling Plan.
  • Metrics: Your Order Defect Rate, Cancellation Rate, and Late Shipment Rate are metrics that help determine eligibility—the better you perform, the higher your chances are of becoming Featured Offer eligible. You can see how you're doing on the Account Health page.

Seller Central: Featured Offer Info & Eligibility Checker

Seller Central: Becoming the Featured Offer

  1. Price your items competitively
  2. Offer faster shipping and free shipping (Note: Products with faster estimated delivery times are also more likely to be the featured offers on product detail pages)
  3. Provide great customer service
  4. Keep stock available.

Seller Central - View Featured Offer (Buy Box) Eligibility in Manage Inventory

  • First, check eligibility
  • Then, in Seller Central, go to your Manage Inventory page and then click Preferences
  • Select Featured Offer (Buy Box) Eligible, and at the bottom of the page, click Save Changes
  • The Featured Offer (Buy Box) Eligible column will display the status for each of your ASINs

How can I drive sales without the Featured Offer?

  • Use high resolution images with clear detail.
  • Include key features with benefits listed in your bullet points.
  • Make sure your product is classified in the right category for easier discovery through browsing.
  • Research the competition as you develop a compelling price point.
  • Follow up each order with great customer service.
  • Offer free shipping, which can encourage buyers come back to Amazon.

Why does my Amazon listing not have a Featured Offer?

If you see “All Buying Options” instead of a Featured Offer box, the item or product category might not be eligible for Featured Offer placement. It could also be another reason, such as:

  • You ran out of stock
  • The price is too high
  • You’re a new seller
  • Sales volume for the product is too low (lack of performance data)

Please feel free to update this thread if you need additional guidance from the community.
