Is there a newer rule that you must send a minimum number of cases per SKU to avoid higher shipping costs to Amazon FBA?
Our warehouse guy says that for the past month or two, that he has to send at least 5 cases of any SKU to avoid paying much higher rates to ship to Amazon's warehouses (for FBA).
We have 14 SKUs. Some sell enough that we send in 20 at a time. Some only need two or three cases per month. If we only send in two, the price per case is like double the price if we send in 5 of that SKU. Keep in mind that, overall, we are still sending in 30-90 cases per shipment, but it is a mix of our 14 SKUs.
Are any of you familiar with this issue? Is he doing something wrong, or did the policy change?

Hi @Seller_ctlHhuYQK8UHO,
Thank you for reaching out with this question!
It sounds like he may be referencing the FBA inbound placement service fee? This updated policy requires 5 or more identical cartons or pallets in order to qualify for the Amazon-optimized shipment splits inbound option.
Please let me know if this helps clarify! And of course, if you have any additional questions.
All the best,
Jameson
