Reimbursement for shipping label
I printed out a shipping label and it had the incorrect weight on it. I wasn't sure how to correct the error and since I didn't want any delay on shipment, I went to the post office and paid a total of$72.28 for both items. I have two questions; how I can correct the shipping label and can I receive a reimbursement for the amount I paid at the post office.

I do not use Amazon buy-shipping so cannot advise as to the method. You want to void/cancel the Amazon label and should be reimbursed for that amount.
Typically with other postage systems you would need to wait about thirty days for refund (to make sure the label is not going to be used).
You will not be reimbursed for what you paid at the Post Office.
In future if you cannot use the Amazon buy-shipping for what you want to purchase, use another system like Stamps or PirateShip.
This allows you to purchase at Commercial Base prices (note: there is no reduction in price for Media Mail on any system)

You go to the order in the Amazon system (assuming you used Amazon Buy Shipping) and click on "Refund Purchased shipping Label" and follow the directions and the check box. Then go back to the order and select "Edit Shipment" and enter the method you used and the tracking number. I usually follow-up with a message to the customer since Amazon sometimes does not send the message to them and keeps the old tracking number in the system. It takes 60 days (yes, 60 days!) o get your postage refund on a USPS voided label. Paul.
