Not qualifying for GTIN Exemption
Hi, I have been trying to list products in my new seller account. We are selling a private label product in kitchen category for which GTIN exemption should be allowed as per Amazon policy. Our product is registered in Brand registry too. But, when I click on "Apply for GTIN exemption" it says "Your account does not qualify". Though I have tried raising this as a concern with the seller support ( ID 9752715182), I haven't got any proper response. At least understanding what is the problem would be of great help. When Amazon policy states GTIN exemption can be allowed for a seller of our status, why does the system not allow. I would highly appreciate a response as to why this is happening and if this can be resolved. Getting a barcode wouldn't be practical at this point as it is too expensive.
