Product targeting ads not working

hello,

When I advertise, there is no problem when I start automatic targeting or keyword targeting, but when I start product targeting, the ad definitely does not work.

I have tried many times how can I solve this problem, I do not think I can solve this problem with automatic responses to the case.

Thank you.

Les go back one step. Why are you using advertising. Advertising on Amazon is designed to extract as much of a seller's profit as they can get.

What no one will tell you is the bottom line. If you sell products that buyers want and need and sell them at the lowest offering, they sell themselves. Remember, in retail sales, what you sell is the key to success.

What no one will tell you is advertising will not help sell a product that no one wants, and if you have a good selling product, it is not necessary. Advertising hype, by nature, is designed to keep sellers from looking at their bottom line, their profit.

All advertising is paid for from a sellers unearned profit, so hopefully, the product is marked up in price to pay for the advertising. But then, if you do that, the Amazon commission on the sale is also marked up. All of this goes on without the seller paying attention to why they are not making any profit at all selling on the site. Sellers who use FBA are often at a worse advantage because of all the fees Amazon assesses.

Hopefully, all this has been thought out in advance and you are still able to make your desired profit on each sale to cover expenses and still operate a thriving business.

Hello @Seller_6jfE2sxokfym9- and thanks for posting!

If some of your existing targets aren’t receiving impressions or clicks, it may be due to keyword and product targeting restrictions. In such cases, you may be able to add a restricted keyword or product when creating your campaign, but ads won’t run against those targets.

You can read more on this topic on this Amazon Advertising help page, or create a case with Amazon Ads support for more assistance!
