Sometimes the ISBN on the cover does not match the ISBN on the colophon page.
Sometimes if you type in the ISBN instead of scanning it, it will match.
Try looking up the book by using the title and author--Amazon sometimes assigns ASINs to books that have ISBNs.
"How to correct Amazon?"
Years ago, Amazon the Bookselling Website used to accept corrections and photographs of books from individual sellers.
Those days are long gone.

If you are adding a product, add the book w/o an ISBN. I normally do this, or if Amazon insists the book is a paperback when I have the hardcover. Of course, you need to have an ISBN exemption.
