UPS Ground shift to 2nd Day Air.

Hey fellow Amazon sellers,

I've been encountering an unexpected issue with my recent Amazon orders in terms of shipping. Instead of the usual UPS Ground shipping, some of my orders have been change to 2nd Day Delivery and not even giving an option to choose UPS Ground. This shift in shipping method is affecting my profit margins and operational planning.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with Amazon's shipping options recently? If so, how did you handle it, and did you find a resolution or workaround?

I'm eager to hear about your experiences and insights on this matter. Let's collaborate and share strategies to mitigate the impact on our profits and maintain smooth operations in our businesses.

Usually, when that happens, it is because it doesn't think ground will get it there in time. Have you checked the in transit times on your shipping template to make sure that they are accurate for ground? If you're using Amazon's shipping template automation, I would suggest turning it off.

This help page, Manage shipping templates, should provide some great insight.

Shipping templates enable you to customize shipping options for your products. You can assign multiple ASINs to each template. Within a shipping template, you can configure your transit time and shipping fees for both domestic and international deliveries. You can create up to 20 shipping templates to have different shipping options for groups of SKUs. Domestically you can assign specific fees within a region of a country. Additionally, you can configure an option for customers to get expedited shipping and set a specific price for this accelerated transit time.

Best,

Dominic
