I have a product that is about 30 inches in size could i get a custom box that is bigger than 25 inches to ship them in as long as the boxes are still less than 50lbs?

Whether your product qualifies as a standard size or an oversize will affect both its fulfillment fee and its storage fee

Michelle at Amazon here. I have read your concerns regarding the dimensions of your items. As long as you are not putting multiple items in the box then you are fine, such as a TV, it is greater than the 25" rule, however, since it's a single item, it can be shipped to the FC in the box that is oversized, but only by itself, not with other TV's bundled with it.
