To better protect copyright of images, Amazon should watermark any image downloaded from its platform

We make our product images and upload them through Amazon only. As everyone knows, the images can be downloaded freely without any protection. So I found my images being used on Alibaba, even on Amazon as well. I had the Brand Support Team remove that image in violation on its platform but did nothing about those on Alibaba.

My concern is "how many situations like this will I have to handle in the future?" "Will there be retaliation against me someday?" " what am I supposed to do if someone makes false claims against me, just for retaliation?"

You may not have the same concern at this moment. As your business grows, same thing will happen to you inevitably.

Because watermarked images are not allowed I feel too powerless to stop my product images from being abussively used by someone who has no authorization. Should not Amazon take more measures to protect copyrighted materials on its platform by simply watermarking any downloaded image to protect them or letting sellers do it themselves? I think they should and wish they should have.

Not here to vent but to state my concerns and opinions. Would love to get advice from experienced fellows.

It is not going to happen. Images are fair game all over the world. While they are supposed to be protected under US law, good luck in enforcing it, as the government has little interest is creating the Picture Police. And if they did, they could only act in the USA, not the Chinese site Alibaba.
