it takes some time to become profitable,, for a few months you have to work on no profit no loss basis, with time once you have built a base on amazon you can increase prices and make profit

See, Amazon has extremely Slack and Impractical Laxity towards buyer, esp in India. I don't think, anyone else except Amazon Tranasportation Services is making money. Too much of senseless returns from non serious buyers and among them fruadsters are making merry on Amazon's and Seller's Money.
Amazon's Management is not at all serious in innovating and containing returns and frauds. Understandable, these are profitable to them. Even ATS People also seems to be involved in Frauds, their own people, who appears to be changing buyer returned products before sealing. But Amazon is not concerned at all, in my opinion
Even if you are able to make some profit, it does not justify efforts you put on Amazon's Platform

Not at all.. we are micro enterprise selling in grocery.. we are selling as trademark registered brand seller still didn't gained bcoz of toxic policy of amazon our product don't gain visibility by organic means! All you have to do is keep pumping money and keep running ads. Even with proper A+content did..but didnt got sales as expect.. did marketing of 15k and earned nothing its now in negative we brought it from-15000 to -6000.. we have no survival profit as new seller...amazon is deducting this amount till now and we have to pay easy ship fees, commission and and then in a month some penny amount is credited to our account.. this will continue till our -6000 is cleared. But the thing is we are not getting sales for that do again ads and same thing DEBT TRAP under ads... amazon does nuisance orders from yoga their weightsize checking team... doesnt gives us packaging cost only reimburses shipping and commissions...customer plays with us they will reject the order when the product is at their door in COD cases..Easy ship courier team either breaks the product or lazy to deliver to customers they say unable to reach the customer or deliver... when product is damaged amazon doesnt gives loss recovery amount they will only give which is suitable as per their thoughts..very stubborn..all we have to do is follow whatever amazon does even if its wrong and bad for seller..

I think getting profit on amzon is dream now ,Its not for small brands and small budget business .As soon as we started to get orders by running ad like hell our comptitor will start playing games .Also SPN are taking 40 to 50 account and handling single man ,Can u imagine a person handling 40 accounts on amazon like platform .
to be frankly speaking its not a platform for low budget business reason
1.Too much spend on advertising
2.Sudden change on policy
3, Sudden listing blockage
4.Comptitor
5.Mentally always thinking of amazon makes exhausted
6.etc

i do not think that any small scale seller earns money from amazon . it is only amazon who is charging too much money from seller in form of commission fee ,ads fee etc and making more and more money . at the end of the day seller are left with no money even you have to pay from your pocket .if initially you are thinking to sell product on no profit and no loss basis later when you will increase selling price amazon will automatically suppress your product visibility and ultimately to get the order you have to sell the product on old price

Majority of the products are sold by Amazon affiliated companies. for them no (almost minimum) delivery charges.

you have to grind for a year or two on no profit, loss, or little losses to get into profits.
it would take decent review ratings, the product listing should be good and you should have FBA.
if these things are met, I think it's just a matter of time to turn profitable.
