Buy Amazon Shipping Ground service, fullfiled by Merchant
Hi Everyone,
Anyone using Amazon Shipping Ground service fulfilled by Merchant, how is going on so far?
I've been switched from using UPS to Amazon Shipping Ground since last year as it has lower cost and convenient.
However, recently, I notice there are a lot of shipment issues during transit; some of them damaged or delayed so had to provide full refund, but without returning the item me. The damaged and/or delayed items never returned, just disappeared somewhere.
I understand I can claim via Amazon Shipping and mostly my claim is approved but it is up to $100 covered; my item is more than this amount so every time this happens, I'm losing money a lot.
Every month, this shipment issue happens on average 5~6 per month, but this month and it is still in middle of March, but already happened 7 times so far; full refund to the buyer without returning the item to me.
Anyone has advice? I'm thinking to switch back to UPS due to too much often this shipment issue (Damage or delay).
Is it normal or I'm just unlucky for Amazon Shipping Ground service?

Sounds like a good reason not to use it.
I have contemplated it but the warning that this service does NOT provide tracking and does NOT provide insurance is kind of disuading.
