Meaning of impressions
Hi, need some clarification on Impressions.
What exactly does an impression mean? Let's say a user searched for a keyword which we have bid for and the advertisement is displayed on the 3rd page. The user doesnt browse till the 3rd page. Will that be counted as a valid impression in the Amazon ads dashboard?
Or adding to the example here, if the advertisement is located at the bottom of the page and the user only browses the initial couple of rows of products, will that ad be counted as an impression?

Hello @MaZen_741,
Thanks for bringing up this important topic about impressions on Amazon ads. I'm happy to provide some clarification.
An impression on the Amazon ads dashboard does not necessarily mean the ad was actually seen by the user. An impression is recorded when the ad is served or delivered, even if the user doesn't scroll down to see it or interact with it.
Just because an impression is registered, it doesn't mean the ad was viewable or viewed by the customer.
I hope this helps provide some clarity!
Adam
