New Kind of Replacement order scams and Amazon provides no help
Long story short, customer placed order , our order is a 12 kit car part nearly $100. Delivered and good.
2 weeks later, customer request replacement order, saying first order something is not right, replacement was issued and landed in "unshipped", we proceeded the shipment since we needed to.
2 days ago, customer returned the first order to avoid charge we guess, but he only return 2 out of 12 pieces, we screwed. Unable to file A-Z, unable to file saft-T...
opened case, funny thing is support told us we SHOULD NOT ship the replacement order and we SHOULD need to wait for the return to get back to us first.
We believe this is new type of scam now, Amazon is not going to do anything. about year ago Amazon launched this "replacement" function forcing seller to ship replacement order free of charge to buyer, if buyer does not return the original order, they would be charge again. But once buyer received their replacement order, they can return anything they like, and seller is NOT ABLE TO open saft-T, because there is no refund issued.
This is hopeless, please fix this Amazon.

Is there a setting in your preferences where you can opt out of Replacement orders OR require buyer to give package to shipper BEFORE you need to ship replacement (might not help)?

You need to file the Safe-T claim under the Replacement Order ID then reference "Original Order ID" in your Safe-T claim appeal.
