The category/browse node was changed by Amazon for some of our ASINs and we are unable to change it back
We have a variation which include 6 pet products.
The category/browse node for all of them were changed by Amazon around middle of August, since then we see a sharp in sales which make our business hard to move.
We tried a few times to contact Amazon support team to change it back, but we always received same standard reply that "This product is assigned to the current category based on the detail page and how Amazon customers find products through search and browse. "
But we don't think the given reason is true. We have a large number of orders generated from the old category, and our competitors are all categorized under the old one.
We have provided these proof via case ID 13573592731 on August 28th requesting to change the category back, until now we received no reply.
Hope someone from Amazon could see this post and help forward our case to a team who can really investigate our case by referring our Ads statistics. Thank you very much for your help!

Hello @Seller_Wfi3FaJ3Lvbpo,
Michelle at Amazon here. I understand you would like to have your listing changed back to the original browse node. I have reviewed the case and see that they are working with the team that made the changes and have requested that they revert them back for you. I will continue to monitor the case and provide you with an update as soon as I have one.
Regards,
Michelle
