"trademark for website" instead of "trademark for product" for Brand Registry?

Does Amazon Brand Registry accepts a Trademark for a website store? or does it have to be a trademark for a product?

Hello @Seller_q1gJo9YWmVTeO,

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I can provide a few resources to answer this and potentially any follow up questions. First, enrollment in Brand Registry is for Brand Protection and the first requirement is a pending or registered TM with 1 of the 20 approved countries, WIPO or EUIPO. If the Brand name you are applying for in Brand Registry is exactly the same as on your Trademark, then it will be accepted as long as all other parameters are met.

Please find the eligibility requirements and FAQ's. In addition, I just posted some content earlier this week on the mark type's of TM's that are approved. In that post are links to the country specific enrollment guidelines. Brand Registry Design mark vs Word mark.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Best, Dougal
