Amazon Support Associate Changed SKU's ASIN Without Authorization
Hello,
We recently requested help from an Amazon Seller Support Associate to help us change the GTIN of a product that was incorrect so that we could merge it with another ASIN.
Long story short, the associate that took our case did not read our ticket carefully and instead of helping us in the way we requested, they (for some reason) disattributed our SKU (S8-1B3M-61ZQ) from its original ASIN (B0CPQTV1DN).
Here is what they said verbatim:
"I understand your request is related incorrect UPC on the ASIN B0CPQTV1DN.
The 00198168050903 has been relocated to another ASIN and has been disassociated from ASIN B0CPQTV1DN.
Currently, no product identifier is associated with ASIN B0CPQTV1DN.
Contribute the correct information to replace the relocated product identifier.
The Edit Details interface should now allow you to input the correct product identifier for this ASIN under the Vital Info tab."
Nowhere in our ticket did we request such a thing, and we certainly did not request that they do this to our second best selling product. It is now currently "Out of Stock" despite our SKU having over 500 units in FBA and our sales have plummeted because the listing has been suspended for being out of stock.
We've replied immediately to the case requesting them to reverse their action, to which they, again, did not read carefuly to understand our request and replied with incorrect information related to the original prompt. They did not address their unauthorized action against our listing at all nor did they respond thereafter.
Time and time again, we've reached out to support via email, chat, and phone. Nobody is willing to help us or refer us to a supervisor that could help. All they do is say they arent qualified to help, leave the chat suddenly, or play hot-potato and throw our case around (despite this being an issue they entirely manifested out of thin air due to gross negligence).
We are simply requesting that our listing be reverted back to its condition prior to September 10. I.e. have the SKU (S8-1B3M-61ZQ) be reattributed to its original ASIN (B0CPQTV1DN).
Edit- Please refer to this case ID in which the problem occurred: Case ID 15993809901

Additionally, I want to state that I've tried uploading a flat file to create a new listing using the original SKU and ASIN. I get the following error:
"You are receiving this error as you may be adding Offer-Listing(s) or editing a SKU not present in your catalog or one that’s been deleted. If this was a deleted SKU, wait 24 hours before resubmitting it. If you tried to add this SKU to the Amazon catalog before, check your data and correct any errors before resubmitting"
We've waited days and still can't get it to work.

I noticed that you've helped other sellers with unauthorized changes to their listings, and I would really appreciate your guidance with a similar issue I'm facing.
Thank you.
