Fake Buyer and Amazon said "Please Do Not Ship"

I have received a COD order for multiple quantity and then I reported that order as suspicious order. I got a reply that "Please Do Not Ship" in email.

It suggest that the order will get "Auto-Cancelled" and Account Health will not get impacted.

Does that really works the same way or there are other steps that I need to follow?

Should I ship the order despite the email to not ship the order?

Please suggest what should I do?

Do not ship the order. Auto cancelled by amazon. Cancellation fee will reimbursement with in 15 business working days. No impact in account health.

Ofcourse, do not. You are already given instruction by Amazon not to ship.

don't ship .. let it get auto canclled .. create a support case & share email from Amazon & ask support to note down . You are lucky that Amazon is asking not to ship & avoided possible fraud . in future too if you see same or matching content order always update Amazon.

The Amazon proactive metrics correction doesn't work properly if they tell you to cancel the order. You can do that, but unfortunately it will affect your account health, and you have to remove them manually, and that process is absolutely hectic since customer support is awful.
