Inquiry of Brand Registry

It has been about three months since receiving the rejection notice for the Brand Registry application in November of last year. Today, upon checking, we found out that we have the opportunity to reapply for the Brand Registry.

To avoid the same mistakes as last time, we have a few questions regarding the Brand Registry.

1. Brand Logo Colors

For our brand, the logos submitted to the USPTO, engraved on the actual product package boxes, and the company logo image are all the same design but have different colors.

- Logo submitted to USPTO: Black and white

- Logo on the actual product package box: Gold

- Company logo image: Red and black

Is there a possibility that Amazon might recognize it as a different brand and reject the application?

2. Brand Owner's Name and Address

Should the name and address of the brand owner registered with the USPTO perfectly match those of the Amazon account owner? In our case, there is a difference in the presence of a dot in the owner's name.

- USPTO OWNER OF MARK: OOO Corp. (dot included in the owner's name)

- Amazon Legal business name: OOO Corp (no dot in the owner's name)

Thanks in advance.

If the logo that is on the images submitted in the Brand Registry application matches what is registered to the trademark office, there should be no issues here.

These should match exactly as well as the business address, etc!

Please let me know if you have further questions. Also attaching our Brand Registry Application Guide for you to look over at your convenience!
