Feeling Like Quitting Amazon
Feeling Like Quitting Amazon
There are days when giving up feels easier than holding on...
Running a small business on Amazon has become more exhausting than ever. Returns piling up, refunds with no fault of ours, SAFE-T claims not being approved, and on top of all that — No sales
It’s disheartening to put your heart, time, and money into building something only to see it crumble because of policies and systems that don’t favor small sellers.

I am feeling like quitting as well. From past month customer order rejection increased without any reason, sales are hardly 1 order per day. Don't know why amazon is not imposing fine to the customer order rejections to stop fake orders. Doing regular job is better than doing business on amazon to earn regular income.

SIMULTANEOUSLY SALE ON OTHER PLATFORMS ALSO AND SEE THE REASONS FOR RETURNS. IF YOU HAVE GIVEN PROPER ATTENTION THEN DEFINITELY YOU WOULD HAVE LEARNT MANY THINGS. IF YOU ARE NOT MAKING PROFIT IN THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH YOU ARE SELLING NOW THEN THINK ABOUT CHANGING THEM. THERE ARE TWO PARTS OF SELLING- THE FIRST ONE IS KNOWING THE NITTY GRITTY OF SELLING AND THE SECOND ONE IS CHOOSING A WINNING PRODUCT WITH YOUR FULL CONTROL. SEE LEARING TO SELL ONLINE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANY THING. IF YOU HAVE LEARNT TO MANAGE YOUR ACCOUNT THEN YOU NEED NOW TO FOCUS ON CHOOSING YOUR PRODUCT. NEVER SELL YOUR PRODUCTS AT LOWER PRICE.

It is deeply disappointing to see a platform as large and influential as Amazon resort to tactics that seem to exploit and demotivate small sellers. These short-sighted strategies may offer temporary benefits, but they risk long-term damage to seller trust and platform credibility.
Many sellers have repeatedly raised concerns about unfavorable policies that often lead to direct financial losses—policies that not only lack transparency but also drain seller balances through arbitrary penalties, returns, or fee structures. It is high time Amazon takes responsibility and amends these policies to ensure that honest sellers are not forced into losses simply for operating on the platform.
One of the most persistent issues is the unhelpful, partially trained front-end seller support team. It remains one of the weakest in the industry, leaving sellers frustrated, unheard, and without real resolution to their concerns.
Amazon must realize that small and medium sellers form the backbone of its marketplace. Strengthening seller support and reforming harmful policies are essential steps toward creating a fair, secure, and mutually beneficial environment.

agreed, people just order items on COD and return the orders without giving a propper reason. They don't even know what happens to us as sellers on amazon when they return the products. My returns have also piled up, and amazon has kept charging us with their fees and return charges. It does feel like quitting amazon. There are so many suspicious orders and there is no way for us to block those pin codes. We should get the feature of blocking pin codes for COD.

Well feeling is mutual.
Setting up business on Amazon has become a tidious and impossible task, whether you have deep pockets or not. Intent will never be valued, you shell out margins by giving the best quality products, will never be acknowledged and Amazon team will never come forward in support despite doing such things.
After giving 8 months to Amazon, doing things right, running ads, seeking reviews by giving handwritten notes to customers, ensuring the best of the product with packaging, not a single order cancellation from our side and using FBA Amazon still we are struggling to make our presence on Amazon. And the sad part is Amazon team will never acknowledge it, so what's the point of selling?
Also, I kept a note of one more thing when I started my brand on Amazon while keeping a check on competition, certain more brands were launched despite being manufacturers in the category they moved out of from Amazon within 6 months because of LOW SALES and LOSS of MARGINS.
I agree that letting it go rather than holding on to it is better. I am trying for the last time by sending all the inventories held with me in FBA. So, keeping fingers crossed to liquidate them.

i have tried every platform selling on amazon from last 4 months , orders increases according to seller metrics i guess , run ads , reviews are important key no matter how good your product is customer will always put negative reviews , return without any reason . so focus on increasing orders through other channels also . stay strong

Yes, we’re also on the verge of quitting.
We’ve reached a point where even 5% return on ad spends is a dream.

Honestly, all we get after spending thousands on ads is Babaji ka Thullu.
No meaningful sales. No visibility. No support. Case id-10988159542/ 11099891522/ 11096903402 /11074963822 /
Amazon has complete digital tracking records for every shipment—timeline logs, location data, and even the specific ATS staff involved.
Despite this, when we raise complaints with clear evidence, Amazon keeps pushing the timeline, causing shipments to go beyond the Safe-T claim or proactive reimbursement windows.
Meanwhile, ATS staff are manipulating the tracking data, which again ends up favoring Amazon. As a result, we are unable to file Safe-T claims or receive proactive reimbursements—even for genuine lost or undelivered orders.
We've investigated this thoroughly and discovered that ATS and FBA hubs are primarily allocated to Amazon insiders like Cloudtail. These entities then sub-contract to third-party operators for local ATS delivery hubs appointed staffs with Rs 12500/monthly salaries with over 16/18 hrs duty- These peoples are steeling products. Selling local markets- this is the words from an ATS staff worked in our local hub and currently working in UP for Amazon..
( These underpaid workers, struggling to earn even basic bread and butter, have resorted to stealing sellers’ goods.) MEANWHILE, THE THIRD-PARTY OPERATORS RUNNING LOCAL ATS DELIVERY HUBS ARE MANIPULATING DATA TO ESCAPE AMAZON’S FINES FOR MISSING OR STOLEN PRODUCTS.
>>> Data manipulation complaint id-10676143382 Amazon investigated and accepted its correct .We are not firing on the air, all the details shared with proofs.
This isn’t speculation—it’s a fact shared directly by someone who working inside the system.
👉 We are now reaching out to fellow sellers:
Has anyone received proactive reimbursements or compensation for lost/undelivered orders within the last 3–4 months?
If yes, please share your experience. If not, we need to highlight this issue collectively.
Meanwhile, ATS staff blatantly steal products, and Amazon simply looks the other way—because they're still earning from shipping fees, commissions, and ad budgets, regardless of what happens to sellers like us.
We’ve raised complaints. No resolution. No accountability. This Noor is deleted our several posts- Clearly considering we Indian sellers as Slaves in their captivity- I can say that these kind of treatment for sellers I haven't seen in UK marketplaces.
"As sellers, we've stopped filing Safe-T claims. Returns have piled up—it's like we're gasping for our final breath. Community admins and Seller Support are just hammering the final nails into our coffin. Let them enjoy while it lasts."
And to make it worse, even our voices are being silenced—posts are being deleted by community admins the moment we speak up.
Let’s be realistic—don’t expect anything from Amazon anymore.
All we can do now is cut ad spends, because it seems the more we invest, the more our sales actually drop.
Attaching screenshots of the deleted messages as proof.
If we don’t speak up now, when will we?
