How did the ad spend more than my daily budget ??

I did a daily budget of $4 for a few products. How did it spend $10.19 in less than a day?? It says I made a sale but it’s pending. But $10.19 is over my budget of $4. Can someone please explain I am new to Amazon.

Finally just realized the WHY myself! There is a setting under daily budget that only allows 25% or 100% to be added to your daily budget IF you did not use all of your budget. So if your budget is $10 and you use $5 only that day the next day the campaign by itself allows either $20 or $15 depending on the setting you have it on. It looks to me that you CAN NOT turn it to "0". So I assume yours is set at 100%. Good Luck!

Hi @Seller_D3hetuM4y3QP2,

Tatiana from Amazon here -- I've just come across your post.

@Seller_PTpw5SQTsiboc's explanation is correct. The daily budget amount is averaged over the course of a calendar month. On any given day you could spend less than your daily budget, or up to 100% more than your average daily budget using leftover amounts from previous days in the month. The purpose of this is so you can benefit from high traffic days.

You can choose to opt-in to 100% increases on daily budget, but the minimum is 25%.
