Amazon says their "Buy Shipping" doesnt have to work, but we also have to use it.

Heres the latest in Amazons MF "Buy Shipping" not offering UPS or USPS options intermittently:

Attempted to ship an order that now only shows Fedex shipping for an outrageous price. After 2 cases and a half dozen Amazon seller "support" employees telling me that USPS nor UPS will be able to deliver the item 2 states away within 2 weeks, or that UPS and USPS don't go to all addresses, or links to unrelated help pages being sent to me, I was able to get an English speaking member of leadership to understand the issue.

After waiting 2 more days for a response, I was told: "Due to the buy shipping functionality, we are unable to promise that a specific carrier or shipping service will be always available for all your orders." (Case 14647778021).

So instead of addressing the issue and fixing the issue that impacts sellers regularly, its easier to just brush it off and tell the seller "you must use our "buy shipping" to ship your orders or we wont protect you from fraud, but we also don't have to have a functioning "buy shipping" so deal with it.

The amount of professionalism is amazing. Do they get bonuses for not handling cases? Thats the only logical answer at this point. I guess I'll just continue to ship them with shopify or pirate. Easier to not try to get Amazon to have a functioning system at this point.

I actually suspect that they force this on sellers where buyers are at risk for INR. This way, they don't have to eat the cost.....you either buy the much more expensive service (and they know you wont) or they wont have to eat it when the buyer claims not received. Cheaper for them then enforcing fraudulent buyers....

Any mods able to assist after we've tried a dozen times and keep being given different excuses? Now we supposedly can't ship from our address on this one order because we allegedly dont have UPS or USPS pickups (per amazon) yet we have daily pickups. Case 14647778021. Can anyone advise why I cant get even basic help and why no one is helping fix the missing "carrier prioritization" function? @SEAmod@Micah_AmazonThank-you
