Warehouse AFW1 Closure- Frustration
The past 5 months we had many units (close to 5,000) stuck in warehouse AFW1. The warehouse has been shut down in December of 2022 due to structural damage and all of our units stayed stuck there. The items we had there were winter gear that we were unable to sell this past winter. I am grateful that we were not charged storage for those items for the months that the warehouse was closed. However, now in the beginning of May Amazon released all of the items as the Warehouse is back up and running. Since they are all winter items we cannot sell them now in the hot weathers -off season. I tried recalling those items back to us so that we don't have to pay storage until September (when we can sell them again) but Amazon charges an extremely high return fee for our category. On the same note we also do not want to pay storage for these units for the next five months when none of these items will be sold. I wonder if anyone had such a situation in the past and can guide me how to go about this and perhaps get amazon to wave either the storage fee or the return fee for us.
Thanks in advance!

This may be good for you. People start buying winter stuff soon, it is June already.
As far as waiving storage or the removal....I highly doubt that but your situation is unique. No harm in asking

Hi @Seller_YrzENYg0j9jW9,
Dominic from Amazon here. I would first create a case with Seller Support laying this out. If they deny the request please provide me with the Case ID. I cant promise I will be able to get the charges removed but I can see what I can do!
Best,
Dominic
