Concern Regarding COD Orders and Possible Cancellations due to delay in pickup of order by Delivery Associate
Dear Amazon Seller Support Team,
I currently have 5 pending orders, out of which 4 are Cash on Delivery (COD). These orders have already been delayed and not yet picked up. I am concerned about the possibility that customers may refuse delivery or cancel the order when the package reaches them.
In such a case, I would like to understand:
Who will bear the shipping and return charges if the customer refuses to accept the COD order?
Should I proactively cancel these delayed orders from my end to avoid additional costs?
Will Amazon impose any penalty or affect my account health if I choose to cancel the COD orders now?
If any seller has faced a similar situation, your guidance will be appreciated.
