The best way to find an authorized distributor is, when you ask a brand for permission to sell their products on Amazon, where they suggest that you purchase your inventory.

Without brand approval, even invoices from the best "Authorized Distributor" may not cut it, if you are not on the brand's "whitelist". More and more brands are restricting who can sell their products, especially on Amazon.

Regardless of where you source it, so not try to sell any branded items unless you know for sure that the brand is okay with you doing so (preferably in writting).

Hi @Seller_OqFTKxMyxQGW0,

Indy from Amazon jumping in here, great to e-meet you.

I'm not surprised to see @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrwhas already provided great advice here. I'm dropping a few resources on sourcing products, brand name approval, and getting a letter of authorization below for your reference as well.

Guidelines to source products to sell on Amazon

Brand name approval requirements and issue resolution

Letter of Authorization

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

i bought $11,500 worth of ASUS products (101 items) from D&H, one of 5 authorized distributers of ASUS. Amazon declined my invoices. Tried to get a LOA from my distributor, ASUS said it wouldn't be fair to the other sellers. D&H wouldn't take back the product. Ive been selling them for a loss on the bay, on w*mart, and last night even met a guy at a w*mart parking lot and sold them 1 for less than i paid for it.

That being said, if you are just starting out here... don't. Ive been here for 15 years and shipped over 16,000 orders. I can handle a little setback. But the gamble is too high for someone just starting out.
