MFN cluster you know what

So you sell hundreds of an item FBA for months. All the inventory for that item is at Amazon, yet Amazon tells you you just had an order for that item that is merchant fullfilled and tells you to ship it out, but you can't. They insist or they say to "cancel the order" which will negatively affect your store ratings. Amazon does not solve the problem, or answer how it could possibly be an FBM order, they just repeat that it is and their "answer" is ship it (which you can't, unless you go buy one) or cancel the order.

That is Amazon for you. Dumping on their sellers, most of which make no money by Amazon design.

Go to your inventory page and find the ASIN.

Look at it to see if it accidentally was set up for both FBA and FBM sales.

LOTS of sellers that do FBA will also keep an amount of inventory on hand to be able to sell FBM when (not if, but when) a shipment is late or screwed up by Amazon at their warehouses.

By having items available you can continue selling while the FBA is 'out of stock' while Amazon plays musical chairs between warehouses with you FBA items.

Mods, can't a multi-channel fulfillment order be made to take care of this?

never ever give up control of your inventory. FBA has been proven time and again that they can not be trusted with your product.

Why would you create this post, then just abandon it?

Oh, never mind. I just looked at some of your previous posts.

That explains it.

We've gotten some helpful replies and no follow up from OP. Given some of the history I'm going to pre-emptively close this thread as it seems to have run its course before it spills into anything else.
