We understand your request is regarding facing 8541 error while listing a product in the batch ID: 62674020035.
This error occurs when a listing attribute, such as the brand, title, UPC or colour, submitted by the seller corresponds to the product ID of an existing ASIN. This means that a similar product was found in Amazon’s catalogue and there is a discrepancy in the information provided by the seller versus what is recorded in Amazon’s product catalogue.
Here, the SKU data provided conflicts with the Amazon catalogue. The standard_product_id value(s) provided correspond to the ASIN 8196918860, but some information contradicts with the Amazon catalogue. The following are the attribute value(s) that are conflicting: binding (Merchant: 'paperback' / Amazon: 'apparel'). If your product is this ASIN, then modify your data to reflect the Amazon catalogue values. Else, check your value(s) for standard_product_id are correct.
General guidance on changes to Detail Pages:
* Some attributes can be changed as much as you want as long as they do not change the identity of the ASIN. Please note that if we find that these values are inconsistent or misrepresent the product, action may be taken on the ASIN or seller. Examples include product descriptions and bullet points.
* Some attributes may be allowed to change slightly after ASIN creation to enrich the product’s information. For example, it may be possible to change the colour from blue to light blue or add an adjective to the title.
* Some attributes cannot change after ASIN creation. Examples include attributes, such as Global Trade Item Number and item package quantity.
To fix error 8541, first check if the product found is the same as the one that you are trying to list by searching the ASIN in Amazon. Please refer to Match your products for tips for successful product matching.
You can complete your listing in individual listing experience or through the Fix Your Products page. You can resolve error 8541 in the individual listing experience as shown below:
* Note the error in the listing page for the incorrect attribute.
* You can update the value in the field to align with the pre-existing value as shown in the error message. Please note that the value must be an exact match with what is provided in the error message. Ensure that the spacing, capitalisation and singular or plural spelling match with the conflicting attribute to resolve the conflict.
Alternatively, you can resolve the issue in Fix Your Products:
To see the list of products affected by conflicting information:
* Go to Catalogue in Seller Central.
* Select Complete Your Draft listings.
* On the Fix Your Products page, select Incomplete listings and click Matching Reconciliation conflicts.
Check the issue description to see what information has been submitted by you and what information is pre-existing in Amazon’s catalogue. Additionally, you can click the link above the Amazon information to see the detail page of the item. This will be the page shown to customers containing all the information available for this product.
After you have ensured that they are actually the same product, you can choose to accept Amazon’s information, and your submission will be processed in the next 15 minutes, after which your product will be shown on your Inventory page in Seller Central.
If after this time your product does not appear in your inventory, another issue may have occurred. Go to Fix your products > All issues and search for your product. Once found, resubmit the information regarding the other type of issue found. If you are not able to find your product, contact Selling Partner Support.
