self ship order cancellations
I have some issues in self ship order cancellations . Some of the Buyers place a return request before the product is dispatched .
Now after contacting amazon seller support they asked us "NOT TO DISPATCH THE PRODUCT" . I am concerned who is responsible to refund the buyer in this case ?
Will amazon give them a refund ? or will i have to give a refund ?

Quite apparently you have not got the amount from Amazon, as you are still to despatch. The prepaid amount is held by Amazon. Approval for refund depends on your selection, if it auto authorised then Amazon will process the refund, otherwise you have to authorise.

Hello @MALETA
This is Sakura from Amazon.
Generally, there are few rules regarding the cancellation requests that should be followed to avoid any negative impact on your account.
As per Order Cancellations Help page:
If a buyer requests an order cancellation and you have not yet shipped and confirmed the shipment, then you can cancel it via the Manage orders pages on Seller Central, or use the order cancellation feed to cancel order on your system using an API.
At the same time:
If you have already generated the shipping label, then inform the buyer that you are unable to cancel the order at this stage and request a return of the item for a refund.
Still, I would encourage you to review the whole Help page, where you find all the possible scenarios described.
Recently, I have also posted some best tips regarding the order cancelation if you want to review them:
