What are the issues an Amazon seller must know and understand in depth
Hello, everyone. I'm a new seller and I'm learning every day and getting better.
And I want to hear the opinion of the veteran sellers on what are the most important issues that you think an Amazon seller must know. Thank you very much:)

You must know to view Amazon's Seller University.
Do NOT trust any information you learned about it on YouTube or TikTok.
Spend a couple hours (at least) reading this forum and learning from the issues that others post about here.
Amazon is not easy. Good luck to you.

The internet sales landscape has shifted. Congress has passed laws stripping websites of what they had perceived as protection from lawsuits for selling stolen merchandise and that includes gray market stuff as well since there is no 'chain of custody'.
My tea leave reading the past MANY months is that they are cleaning house and removing sellers by the hundreds that have been doing RA and other things such as gray market sales that have been ignored on here for years.
Here is a short list.
Are you authorized IN WRITING by the BRAND to sell their items on Amazon? That means from the BRAND, not some random wholesale source that can NOT authorize anything – they only SELL.
More and more brands have provided a "whitelist" of their approved sellers and if YOU are NOT on the list you will be stopped in your tracks and probably hit with an IP violation.
The second (and probably more important) question is -- Where are you sourcing your products? Are you buying direct from the brand or through an AUTHORIZED wholesale source?
NOTE – DOING RA IS NOT PERMITTED ON AMAZON. PERIOD

Hello @IQR_Center,
Welcome to Seller Forums and to Selling on Amazon! Such great feedback here! There are many of Seller University modules and help pages on this topic. The proof of ownership of the trademark, or a Letter of Authorization (LOA) from the relevant brand owner to use their registered trademark will be required for some items. You may read more about that here. Additionally, please do make it a priority to get familiar with Seller University. The following link is one that is shared among Seller Forums with new seller and you might find this very informative as you getting your are getting going on Amazon.
Kindest regards,
