Domestic LTL shipment was put into "customs delay" for 3 months, now the shipment is closed. Am i screwed?
I had an LTL shipment, which was 4 pallets, go from Oregon to Tennessee. The shipment was put into "customs clearance delay" back in July. The shipment was supposed to be eligible for investigation today, Sep. 26th. The shipment went to "closed" status 2 days ago because its been 90 days, and now it's not eligible for investigation. I checked with the freight carrier, TForce, and they delivered the shipment July 30th and it was signed off by Amazon.
Has anyone dealt with something like this before? Will i be compensated at all, or is this just a total loss of the inventory and shipping charges? Ill attach a screenshot of the tracking log below for reference.
I have an open support case for this, but haven't heard back for days. Case ID: 16091912321
