No. Its estimated. It looks at the rank and "Guesses".
The number is usually pretty close, but its not exact.

If you want keyword data just run an automatic campaign for a month and export the search terms to create a manual campaign. Rinse and repeat removing underperforming keywords and adding budget to high performing keywords. Feel free to use target top of search and page budget modifiers as well.
All the 3rd party apps are unessisary and only there to make money for those businesses. I have used each of the popular apps and found them to be wildly inaccurate.
