shipment delivered but has not been checked-in for months?

we've a shipment delivered over 5 weeks ago but still has not "checked-in".

We've appointment and signed BOL as proof

when we submitted a ticket to the support, they are asking for

- Date of the purchase

- Product names of the missing items

- Quantity purchased

- Full name and address of the invoice issuer

- Full name and address of the buyer

I don't understand why they are asking for these info. This investigation is not related to inventory number discrepancies for the shipment. Currently, the FC has essentially lost our entire shipment, as it hasn't been checked in for weeks. isn't the primary action is to find our skits first? unless they are moving forward with reimbursement for the whole shipment? seems "too good to be true"?

What to do if you have a lost or delayed FBA Shipment

Hello @Seller_mEV6T4fCqXvwM. TaylorR on our team put together the above guide for sellers who are experiencing shipment discrepancies.

Inventory Ownership details is part of the requirements for the team to investigate discrepancies between what is listed in your shipping plan and what is received at the fulfillment center. That information required for entire missing shipments as well as partial differences.

The below help page has more information, including a help video.

Reconcile your shipment

It is called a delaying technique. They will reject EVERYTHING you send them and repeat back boilerplate nonsense back to you until you give up...

It cases like this, is a bogus way to avoid responsibility. Pure and simple.

Having the same problem. Except to make it more frustrating they want me to send replenishment shipments to the same warehouse that lost the first shipment and I'll be charged a larger "placement fee" if I don't send to the warehouse that lost it. Jeff Bezos said in 2018 that most companies nowadays only last 30 years. Amazon is showing their current age of 29 years and 10 months. sigh...

Here's what they just did to me... They wrote me up for 1 missing unit in a Feb 24 Shipment. Then 5 more units shows up as missing in a Mar 24 shipment. SO I run an inventory ledger for the ASIN. I happen to find that there was an "ODD" receipt for yes, you guessed it, 6 EXTRA UNITS, added in March 2024, to, wait for it... a 10 month old CLOSED previously reconciled shipment.

When I contacted seller support, they immediately tried to absolutely confound a simple problem of a log in error, and asked me to open 3 separate cases, one for each shipment (even though they were literally offsetting errors, one shipment with 6 surplus, and the other two were 5 +1 short). Instead of investigating it, they reimbursed me for all 6 shorted units. I told them they were shorting themselves, and all I wanted was the shipping shortage defect removed, and the units properly applied. Know what they said? The 6 units were DEFINITELY from a 10 month old closed shipment, and were JUST FOUND, JUST A MONTH AGO, AT EXACTLY THE SAME TIME 6 UNITS FROM 2 NEW SHIPMENTS, WENT MISSING. They seemed to find no irony in that, and marked it up as a very ODD coincidence. Don't know WHY they decided to add 6 extra units to a CLOSED shipment that was nearly a year old, and short the 2 new shipments, but that is what they did.

I GIVE UP. I tried. I really did.
