Amazon Lost Inventory?

Hi all,

New Amazon seller here so looking for some insight on my situation. I shipped 96 units of my product to Amazon in December and I'm pretty sure they are lost, and Amazon support is not solving / finding anything. Please see below a summary of the shipment events:

Dec. 9: Shipment sent to Amazon

Dec. 13: Shipment received

Dec. 30: Shipment closed (units still not available for sale at this point)

Jan. 10: Units sent out for FC transfer (seen through Inventory Ledger)

Feb 10: today..... units still not available for sale

I'm guessing I should just give up on the shipment at this point? Is there anything I can do to get a reimbursement from Amazon, given that this shipment is worth ~$6k?

Thank you.

The reality is, you just wait until the next update. Hopefully you have holdback some of your product so you can still be selling if FBM.

When Amazon says the shipment cannot be found, that is when you send your manufacturer invoices for a reimbursement of what you paid, not the selling price.

Good afternoon @Seller_YqP7bf0BYoJOK,

Thank you for taking the time to post, I will be happy to provide you with some additional information. First, I want to recommend a thread created by one of my peers last year titled "What to do if you have a lost or delayed FBA Shipment". Specifically, the section on reconciling your shipment, which includes a link to the Seller Central help page on the topic.

Have you attempted to reconcile your shipment, and provided proof of ownership to Seller Support? That will be your first step, but please let me know if you have already done so!
