Amazon keeps putting inventory in my account that is not mine

I have been dealing with Amazon support for over 3 years now on inventory they keep putting into my account I never sent. I tried to close my account many times in the last 2 years and says I can’t due to this inventory. They make it impossible yet I have not even shipped anything to them in 3 years. I constantly have to request reimbursements for removals or they send items to my house. Again not my inventory sending someone else’s. Anyone have tips on how to stop this and close my account ?

And do you get payments for these sales?

Tag a mod here. That seems to be an internal problem and is very strange.

Makes you wonder when they do this do they tack on years worth of storage fees also because some how Amazon is making money when they do this. We as sellers only loose!

You are not alone. I also have had inventory that is not mine appear in my account. I just keep removing it and have it shipped to my house and it just keep piling up. I have reached out many times about the issue and they just keep saying that it is mine. they say i shipped it in in 1 box even though it has been over 15 thousand items that they put in my inventory. There is no way i could have shipped 15k items in one small box. I have had to pay all the fees to send it back. I have been dealing with this for over 2 years. Customer support is useless and they won't do anything about it.

I'm so confused.

Y'all are getting free inventory and are complaining?

Like there's people here that have their inventory stolen/lost regularly, but you're getting free stuff?

Why not just sell it and pocket the money? Why pay for removal and such?

I'm not FBA so i don't know how it works but if you know theres no way to give the inventory to the rightful shipper you may as well take the money, why give it to Amazon?

this happened to me also. It took years to resolve. I'm gonna explain to you what I went through and I got it resolved eventually I send 8 boxes of (8) items and there's 10 boxes meaning I want to sell 8 boxes of (8). Amazon did was list them as a case pack, meaning, they opened them and sod them individually (80). Luckily, I sold that item and I was able to sell it on a different platform. The only way you're going to get this resolved is to go to Amazon accelerate 2025 and book an appointment with the executive support team (Sellercafe). You can literally book those meetings online at the conference. There you get to see real reps and their managers and you can sit there with them. Explain the situation and they'll be able to find how and why it happen and get it resolved.

OK if you have no inventory and they are placing someone elses inventory and billing you fees. ummm cancel your credit card and specifically tell the card to not allow charges from Amazon.

Then stop caring would be step 2

Edit-- Sorry Step 2.. File chargeback for all inventory bills and make sure you have your FBA inbound history that would show no created shipments (just in case)

step 3 is not Stop caring

You are not alone, eighter

I reported that, they can tamper inventory report, but no one handle my issue 3 years ago.

After check in, showed without any discreparcy, but in fact, I did not get any order and never creat any remove order, I opened case, they rejected to reimbursement.

My 4 ASINs have met such case at least from 2020.

Well all the inventory that is constantly "disappearing" must be going somewhere.

Amazon, can't tell the difference between left and right anymore. This is the company that prides itself, about being a tech leader and sophisticated beyond its time.

See link: There are more than 750,000 robots that sort, lift, and carry packages

They can't even boil a egg, but they know how to make "pizza pie" meetings.
