Since opening of lockdowns, we started shipments for FC’s in various states. But to our astonishment, for the first time in half decades period with amazon, inventories are being siphoned and not inwarded. The shipments (no. of boxes) are received but items are less inwarded and ironically each box is a SKU.
Amazon is not responding to case logs and is unwilling to reply specifically and provide preset answers that they have investigated and no inventories were found and go in concluding that we have shipped fewer quantity.

I have experienced the same problem. What did you do to resolve it? Seller support is only providing a standard answer saying wait for 14 days.
After 14 days the units are still missing and they say they will launch an investigation but the result of the investigation is always shortage of units sent. There is no accountability of proof that FC needs to provide. I have provided all the proof that I personally delivered the units to the FC but I get no proof in return.
How do we tackle this problem? I have stopped sending units to FBA since profit margins are so low and it is not possible to run a business when units go missing

I suggest we should also join forces and escalate this issue together, there must be many more sellers facing the same issue.

For reference could all sellers also point out why FC it is that they are experiencing these problems. The FC I face the most problems with is SCJA

tracking ID shows that entire Box is not inwarded nor received at FC still seller support does not understand that units are missing due to loss of entire Box.

We have serious issues with the way FBA handles the products in their warehouses!
Total 9 products damaged (7 numbers of SG9 and 1 SG3). The FBA returns are handled BADLY with no precautions taken. While sending the shipment, we used the high-quality packing material and while returning we observed the extremely low-quality material is used. This is extremely disappointing from the company like Amazon. We request you to take STRONG ACTION on the warehouse (SPNA) who handled our shipments and we would like to have the 100% return of the product value that was damaged.
We can’t sale these products to our customers.
Since the damaged products also have been shipped to customers from FBA warehouses - we have got negative feedbacks and reviews.
In addition, Amazon de-listed our products (with no communication to us) based on the customer response of damaged or used products purchased by FBA mode. Our business is seriously hampered due careless handling of products by your FBA team and we are penalized for it. Extremely disappointing experience from Amazon.
How to escalate the matter ? Please help.

Happened same, lost around 10k in one single shipment.

Ever since entire boxes started to go missing there is no point sending to FBA. As it is margins are low and on top of that if 50-100 units go missing each shipment then it is stupidity to continue.
I don’t understand how Amazon cannot address this issue. It is in everyones best interest if the FC is accountable for all units sent. Only then can we have smooth sales

Amazon is going robotic mode for more profit.
Apart from the past,
- 90% of the replies you get from customer support is copy paste responds.
- Claims about returns are settled easily without further investigation by granting 20% of purchase amount by amazon and sellers bare rest 80%
- Implementing MFN gold service to take returns without seller’s approval and issue a refund on first scan of product.
- Shutting down customer support using phone calls.
- Taking hell of a time to respond to each queries which will discourage sellers to raise queries for smaller concerns.
- Only caring customers voice and no space for sellers voice.
- Locking down all highly sold and profitable products for amazon’s own parters CLOUDTAIL and APARIO RETAIL PVT LTD.
- Increasing amazon fees seamlessly.
I have been in amazon since the launch of amazon in India. Amazon was one of the best platform(for sellers) I have experienced at the time of their launch.
I would like to tell you that don’t waste your time by raising voice and getting together against amazon because they don’t care. Thats because amazon is leading and the most richest and profitable business in the world. Did you know that the NET VALUE of amazon just doubled in this period of COVID 19?
Amazon cares their customers and they know that if there are enough customers, there will be sufficient sellers fighting themselves to sell in amazon. Thats basically a good business strategy and I can’t complaint. And they do satisfy the customers at their best which is why they are leading.
What is the ONLY SOLUTION ?
Did you know that we were paying Rs.249 for 1 GB of data a few years back before the launch of Reliance Jio? Where as now we pay just Rs. 199 for unlimited plans.
Do you know why products are so cheap in amazon? Because competition between a lot of sellers force them to sell it at a very low margin!
IN INDIA, AMAZON DOESN’T HAVE GOOD RIVALS TO COMPETE. SO THEY RULE LIKE A KING. JUST LIKE WHAT IDEA, VODAFONE AND AIRTEL WAS DOING FEW YEARS BEFORE.
IF I HAVE ENOUGH MONEY, I WOULD HAVE TAUGHT A LESSON TO AMAZON BY LAUNCHING A MUCH EFFICIENT ONLINE SALES PLATFORM BUT UNFORTUNATELY I DONT. LOL
LETS HOPE INDIAS OWN GIANTS LIKE RELIANCE OR TATA WILL LAUNCH AS GOOD RIVALS AGAINST AMAZON. THIS WILL GIVE CHOICES TO SELLERS IN INDIA TO CHOOSE BETTER PLATFORMS TO SELL WHICH WILL FORCE AMAZON TO MAKE IT A BETTER AND FAIR EXPERIENCE FOR SELLERS.

We are dealing with multiple FCs in multiple states so the list goes long, but, now we have decreased inwards in locations where pilferages were in large numbers like BLR*, BOM*, SJAB
