As of this week, there is vat on fees anyway even if you are vat registered.

Do you mean vat on sales or vat on fees specifically?

Assuming you are UK based then Amazon wont deduct money off your sales for VAT but you have VAT on fees that you always needed to account for

where are you seeing them deduct it from your sales?

As above reply, even if you are not VAT registered you do now (as of 1st August) have to pay VAT on all the fees.

you pay vat on fees if you are not vat registered, but you can claim this back from amazon, to stop amazon taking vat on your fees you need to prove your Vat exemption to Amazon first

Im from UK and i haven't noticed any changes to be fair didn't we already pay VAT on fees and postage labels?

The only change is they bombard my email with invoices but that's good incase i get over the VAT exemption than i can use it to claim it back
