Getting started selling books (FBM)
Hi,
I'm an independent publisher just getting started listing books on Amazon. Because all of the books I'm selling so far I've purchased from another independent publisher, the titles and their ISBNs are already listed on Amazon. (Existing listings.)
After going through all of the initial set-up work on Amazon Seller, I've set up 6 existing listings so far with price information on the titles, but haven't had any luck yet seeing them show up as available for purchase on Amazon.
These will all be Fulfillment by Merchant (FBM).
Are there other steps I need to take before these products can be available?

- Your listings may still be in the process of being activated. It can take some time for new FBM listings to become visible on the Amazon store.
- There could be an issue with the listing details or product information you provided. Ensure all required fields are accurately filled out.
- If you recently changed the fulfillment method from FBA to FBM, the listings may need to be reactivated.
To get your FBM book listings visible and available for purchase, I recommend you:
- Review your listing details: Double-check that all required product information and images are complete and accurate.
- Verify your inventory and shipping settings: Confirm your in-stock quantities and that you’ve set up your shipping options correctly.
- Reactivate the listings if needed: If you switched from FBA to FBM, you may need to reactivate the listings.
