Hello everyone,

I received an e-mail from Amazon telling me that my account had been deactivated because of forged or manipulated documents. Fundamentally, I believe that Amazon is right. I bought the branded product from the online site of an authorized company in Turkey and received the products. 1 day later, the invoice arrived in my e-mail and I noticed that the recipient's name on the invoice was wrong; the invoice address was correct. Even though I wrote to customer service of the firm, I did not get any results and I played with the name of the recipient of the invoice. I admit that it was a mistake, but I really bought such a product and I have an invoice. The strange thing is that Amazon accepted the invoice within 2 hours, but 2 days later my account was temporarily blocked. After my Amazon account had been deactivated, I received an e-mail from the seller from whom I bought the products, and this time they sent me the correctly issued invoice and said that the previous invoice was canceled..Even though I Submitted the new invoice, Amazon did not accept my documentation. What Should I Do?

"Amazon did not accept my documentation."

When the appeal was rejected, you would have received a performance notification. In order to better assist you, please share that communication here in the thread (with personal information removed) so we can see the exact reason why the documentation was not accepted.

Based off the content of your post, you admit to the manipulating the documents. Your best option here is to likely provide the original unaltered document and the updated document in the same appeal. With these documents, you will want to provide a detailed explanation about why you altered the documents. According to our document requirements, the only change you can make to an invoice would be to remove pricing information and highlight the listing that is being reviewed. You will need to provide a thorough explanation about why you deviated from this policy by changing the name of the recipient.
