No Login to Suspended account as a second account was created by mitake with same Email address

During the Covid pandemic my EU seller account was wrongly suspended as Europe was under total lockdown. The suspension lead to a suspension of my US seller account .

The EU seller account is already reinstated and I tried to login to my US seller account in order to appeal and reinstate it, but the US seller account wasnt there (only the buyer account).

It prompted me to register a seller account. So this is what I did under the same email address as my US account. (EU account is under a different email address), thinking that this way I am recovering the US seller account.

Only after that ( after a month) I received a notification from Amazon, that my US seller account is suspended, as it is linked to another US seller account and I need to reinstate it first. Now I realize, that in error I basically created a new US seller account, thinking I am recreating ( reinstating, because the source account was already reinstated) my old US seller account, under the same email address as the old US seller account.

Now I cannot login to my old US seller account, as the wrongly created seller account is under same email address.

When I appeal to Amazon I receive the standard reply, that I need to prove I once owned the account and no longer owe it or that I need to appeal it first.

I need to regain login to previous US seller account in order to appeal it. Please advise on how.

Hi there @Seller_yAFsWiV9T9zwu,

I hope this finds you well.

"During the Covid pandemic my EU seller account was wrongly suspended as Europe was under total lockdown. The suspension lead to a suspension of my US seller account .

I understand you are experiencing the deactivation of your account due to the deactivation of a related account. I would like to provide you with clarity on the applicable policy in addition to your next steps.

Per Amazon's Seller Code of Conduct and Multiple Accounts policy, all sellers are expected to maintain only one selling account unless there is a legitimate business need to have multiple accounts. Such scenarios include being recruited for an Amazon program where there is a need for a new selling account creation or you have multiple brands which sell different items. Even when permitted to have multiple accounts, all must remain in active, good standing. If one of the accounts is not in good standing and becomes deactivated, all of the subsequent accounts will also be deactivated.

This type of connection can also occur when personal information is shared between two or more accounts. Such information can include but is not limited to phone numbers, e-mail addresses, business addresses, and even internet connection. Once two accounts have the same information on them, Amazon will automatically assume the accounts are owned by the same person or entity. At that time, the accounts become subject to the terms of the Code of Conduct and Multiple Accounts policy cited above.

Alternatively, this policy holds true for other marketplaces as well, such as that of your EU account.

"Now I cannot login to my old US seller account, as the wrongly created seller account is under same email address."

As you are able to identify as the account one that you own, you will need to work with customer support and login assistance in order to recover your account details since you must reactivate the other account prior to your current one being reactivated.

You may utilize the 'forgot password' path on the login in screen.
