My new products has been posted 7 NON-VP negative reviews at the same day!!!Where is the Amazon justice???

Hi Amazon,

We sincerely apologize for bothering you, but I have encountered a serious problem with my product that could influence Amazon’s reputation.

On the same day, my product received seven non-verified purchase (non-VP) negative reviews. These reviews are clearly malicious! One of my products, which has not even sold five orders this month, received three non-VP negative reviews. Upon checking the profiles of these reviewers, I found that they are professional non-VP reviewers. All their recent reviews are non-VP, and they post many reviews each day. They did not purchase my product, but they posted numerous malicious reviews with similar negative content on the same day.

I have attached links to these malicious reviews and the profiles of these reviewers to my support request with Amazon Seller Support, but they were unable to assist me. I kindly hope that Amazon can help me remove these malicious reviews to protect honest sellers.

I just wanted to say I am so sorry this is happening. The Forums are sellers like yourself, offering assistance, or advice to help or guide their fellow sellers. Sometimes it a place to vent, other times like this, its pretty serious.

I launched my product years ago, and would be devastated if that happened. So this is personal to me.

Is it someone that has the same product, or a similar product that is doing this to you? Like a competitor. Or are they hired to write bad reviews for people?

I cant understand why they would attack your new product. What would they get out of it? Maybe try to figure that out & what is the reason that Amazon cant do anything for a non-VP review with more reviews then orders.

It is sad and disgusting Amazon will do nothing about this. Especially when you provide 100% proof to their face. I'm sure those reviews came from Chinese sellers of which Amazon will do nothing about. It is a shame, Amazon will not protect it's sellers better than this.

Same thing happens to me all the time. Best thing you can do is report the reviews from the product page and maybe they take 1 off.

It happened to me a year ago and I managed to get them all removed. I had like 20 of them on multiple occasions.

I contacted Seller Support, they gave me an email (review-appeals+**************@amazon.com.

I took screenshots, linked the reviews, and explained (in 1-2 lines max) the problem.

1-2 days later, they were all gone but one. I can live with one instead of 20 and I left it there.

I'm not gonna lie, it was a lot of work, but it worked.

Keep in mind that reporting reviews must be done only using the path below, our Seller Support team cannot influence reviews in any way:

  1. From the product detail page, find the review in question.
  2. Click the “Report abuse” link and follow the steps to report the review.
  3. You can also email community-help@amazon.com and report the review there (but know you’re not likely to get a reply from this alias, even if they take action).

If reviews go against our Community guidelines, or we found a bad actor, they will be removed accordingly, I do acknowledge that it can take a while to address.
