Multiple SKUs on One ASIN
Hello,
Looking to get clarity on why some of my ASINs are showing multiple SKU #'s. We are selling children's sleepwear which has 10 variants and 5 of the 10 variants have 2 SKU #'s assigned. See example below, and please let me know 1) If having two SKU #'s will cause any issues, 2) If so, how can I delete one of the SKU #'s, 3) Why did this happen in the first place to only a select couple of variants.

Thank you!

Having 2 SKUs for 1 ASIN means that you have two offers for the same product. A lot of sellers will do this if they want to sell one product both FBA and FBM, so one SKU will be for FBM and the other for FBA. FBA sellers will also do this on products with expiration dates with each expiration date getting its own SKU, which allows them to do a removal order on just that SKU when it gets close to expiring.
Where this could be an issue is if these SKUs were supposed to belong to 2 different products but instead got tied to the same one. I did take a look at the ASIN you shared, and it looks like it is in a variation group that has 7 variants and not 10, so this could be the case for you.
To delete it, just search it in your Manage Inventory, click the down arrow next to the Edit button, and select Delete.
Usually, this happens when you cite the same Product ID for both SKUs.
Just a side note after looking at your ASIN, be careful with using the word "bamboo" in your listing. Amazon has been cracking down on bamboo textiles to make sure they conform with the Textiles Act and will remove the listings if they don't. They require:
"Product must display: 1) Synthetic fiber names (e.g. rayon or viscose), 2) Percentages by weight of each fiber in descending order (e.g. 60% Rayon derived from Bamboo, 40% Cotton), and 3) Import designation (e.g. Made in the U.S.A, Imported or both)"
You have to refer to it by its synthetic name and can't call it bamboo fabric. The bot that polices it is very picky, and any use of the word bamboo without rayon or viscose next to it seems to cause your listing to get pulled.

Hi there @Seller_xXHen2FLkO7vG,
Thank you for reaching out with your concerns with your product ASIN with multiple SKUs. As mentioned by @Seller_f4a7xAPCCSMqD there shouldn't be any issues deleting the duplicate as long as you have no FBA inventory under either SKU.
The most common reason for this occurrence is uploading the same product ID twice without a SKU. The system will automatically associate a new SKU if you don't designate a SKU for an upload.
If you are having any additional issues with these listings please feel free to provide your most recent Seller Support Case ID and your questions. Thank you or your understanding.
