Account Deactivated due to related account policy

Hello everyone

I’m hoping to get some advice into my current situation with Amazon.

My seller account was deactivated for a potential violation of the Multiple Account Policy. I have no other Amazon accounts, but I once logged into my account using a friend’s device and Wi-Fi during the registration process. My friend also has a separate Amazon account with no business connection to mine.

Since then, I’ve submitted over 30 appeals to Amazon, providing detailed explanations, affidavits from a Justice of the Peace, and documents like my ID and bank statements to prove that we are separate entities with no shared business. However, every appeal has been rejected.

Most recently, Amazon told me that to reinstate my account, my friend's account must be reactivated. But the problem is that My friend is no longer interested in selling on Amazon and not properly responding to me. He said his account was deactivated after verification without any reason, and now he’s concerned about investing in inventory if this might happen again.

I’ve done everything on my end

Providing affidavits signed by a Justice of the Peace,

Clearing any shared permissions or access between our accounts,

Ensuring that my friend cleared his browsing history and caches where he logged into my account,

Following Amazon’s advice from the Seller University POA video.

Yet Amazon is still rejecting my appeals because of the connection to my friend’s account.

Has anyone else faced a similar situation? Is there any way to get Amazon to reconsider my account without requiring my friend's involvement? I don’t have any control over his account, and we are completely separate businesses with no shared identity or partnership. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I see that your account has been deactivated for a violation of the multiple accounts policy and you would like some guidance on your available options to get this resolved.

You do not have to own the other account for a link to be established. The violation occurs when the account you are found to be related to becomes deactivated.

Since you know who owns the other account, it will be required for your friend to reinstate their account. Do you know why their account is deactivated? Are you able to talk with them and ask if they can work to reactivate their account?

Once you have spoken with your friend, please respond here in this thread for further guidance. The forums community and I are here to support you.

Wishing you the best,

LeviDylan
