Match Competitive Price is Broken - How Do We Fix?!
We are a brand owner who sells proprietary kits on Amazon. Recently, we started getting a "competitive price" issue where Amazon wants us to match to another retailer who sells our products in a completely different configuration.
All the items we sell on Amazon are unique with different UPCs. I believe the algorithm is matching parts of the title and thinks they are the same.
Consequently, our sales have dropped significantly as there is no way we can sell at the "competitive" prices.
I have opened numerous cases with Seller Support clearly outlining that these are two different products, UPCs. Each time we get a cookie cutter response basically saying that we are eligible for the "buy box" but need to match the competitive price!
At this point we're at a loss at what to do or speak to someone competent who can help us resolve. Has anyone else dealt with this before or successfully had it resolved?
