Variation Warning - Model Name

1.We have parent ASIN with variation by Model Name and in Model Name we write for example: 10 Inch - 10 pcs. Is this incorrect for Model Name? Because there is no instruction what can be in Model Name variation

2. We received Variation Warning and I write an appeal

I created new appeal

Plan of Action

-- Greater detail on the root cause(s) of variation that violated Amazon's ASIN Creation policies and Variation Policy.

I accidentally added the following ASINs:******, to the Parent ASIN ********, not knowing and paying attention that they have different names (product title, model name, model number).

-- Greater detail on the actions you have taken to resolve the policy violation.

I have already deleted the Parent ASIN ****** and created new Parent ASIN ******. Now, the ASINs: ********, have the same Product Title, Model Number, Model Name and Manufacturer, just like new parent ASIN ********, in according to Amazon's Variation policy and Variation relationships overview. We will continue to abide by amazon policies regarding the Variation policy.

-- The steps you have taken to prevent this violation in the future.

I have thoroughly studied, learned myself through Amazon's product ASIN Creation policy and Variation policy to ensure that I can comply with Amazon's policy more efficiently and I learned that I cannot add products images and/or names that are fundamentally different from the parent ASIN, as outlined in the policy - https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/G201844590

I have planned a 14-day training starting from 07/12/2023 on Amazon policies for myself to learn and study:

- ASIN creation policy and Variation policy (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/G201844590)

- How do I create variations? (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/GUHKMBQ56WGQX9MM)

- Variation relationships overview (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/8831)

- When to use parent-child relationship in variation (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/GADRGERG8NLZ3HLV)

Hello @GGBSBX

Thank you for the information regarding the violation you are trying to address. There are requirements that need to be met for the product to be set up as a variation. Does your product meet all of the requirements below?

  • The products are fundamentally the same.
  • The products vary only in a few very specific ways.
  • Buyers expect to find these products together on a single product page.
  • Products could share a single title.

You mention the products being different models, are their any major differences between the products that would make them invalid for a variation? If so, you will need to take steps to adjust your listings so that they are compliant with our policies. For more information on variations and the elements of the relationship, check out the attached pages.

If you have any other relevant details or hear back on your latest appeal, refer back here for additional support.
