An ASIN is an Amazon Standard Identification Number with a unique 10-character alphanumeric code that Amazon assigns to each product in its catalog. If you have not created your product yet and require assistance with Selling Partner Support, you should share with them your UPC which is a Universal Product Code is a 12-digit number and barcode used to identify products in retail (online or physical) stores.

Support should recognize that there are duplicate requests for one product and close or decline the duplicate, however you can always reach out to them and let them know you accidently made a duplicate GTIN exemption for a particular ASIN or UPC.

I hope I was able to help answer all your questions above.

As this is your first time posting on forums, I would encourage you to review Seller University to help get you started on your selling journey that way you can avoid unnecessary fees, confusion about how to add a product and be aware of penalties that may occur on your Selling Account if policies are broken.

If you are not a part of the New Seller Community, I would highly suggest joining and reviewing the content in that group as well. Please let me know if you have any additional questions regarding the information provided above. May the sales be with you and have a great rest of your week.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
