Generic - No it isn't

Hi Folks

I get this message when trying to list against an exiting listing ASIN: B0CMPD95L3

Whoever created the listing has put the brand as generic, the brand is Signal.

Do they do this on purpose to stop other sellers using the listing?

Is there any way round it

Unfortunately the seller is trying to by pass the listing rules by creating their own but putting the brand as "generic". As of recently, only the original creator of the listing is able to edit the listing to the correct details.

It looks to me that the person who has listed the product wants to create a 6 pack bundle rather than a single unit.

Have you tried listing against the EAN? that would be the best way of listing on Amazon as the brand will show in the listing.

They probably just didn't have permission to list using Signal as the brand, so listed as Generic instead. They shouldn't have, but the options the system gave them was this or not sell the product, and they made their choice.
