Amazon has refunded a transaction in error and does not want to reimburse

The buyer purchased the item on Sept 4th. We shipped on Sept 5th. The item was received on Sept 6th. The buyer never complained or filed a return request. Yet, a week later, the Amazon system issued a refund. We've filed a Safe-T claim, but repeatedly get denied despite providing evidence of a faulty refund due to a system glitch potentially. The issue is that this transaction was $2800 in value. I am completely baffled by this and don't know what to do at this point.

This is an FBM account. We're being denied reimbursement due to not using the Amazon Buy Shipping Services. How does this make any sense? The refund was provided in error and should be reimbursed.

It is true that Amazon Buy Shipping offers protections against customer claims of non-receipt. Obtaining a customer's signature upon delivery is also recommended. However, if you suspect a glitch in the system occurred, reaching out to our seller support team by creating a case will be your best next step for securing technical support.
