CHARGE METHOD UNABLE TO SWITCH TO UK ACCOUNT

Hi all, i have set up an amazon sellers account as a global seller. However, i have changed this to an individual account. And now i want to change to the UK account as opposed to the US one. I am unable to do this due to my "charge method" Your access to Seller Central is currently restricted due to an invalid charge method. Register a valid charge method for your seller account and restore full access to Seller Central by clicking 'Update Charge Method'. Please note that it can take up to 48 hours to validate your charge method after updating. For more information, visit our Help Pages.

SO even though i have changed to an individual account, which should be free, why are amazon trying to charge me before i can switch over to the UK account? This has been ongoing for the past 5 days. I have updated my card etc but i don't want no money being taken from my bank account. If anybody can help it would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

Hello @Seller_HaehztKi5XKAv,

Thank you for your post. You must enter a credit card that will accept international charges and that has a valid billing address located in an eligible country. Your credit card will be billed the monthly fee (if applicable) or USD 1 (excl. VAT) for purposes of validating the card. For more information, go to Registration requirements by country.

It must be a valid credit card, not pre-paid or debit.

Can you also share the most recent seller support case with me below as well. I would like to review and see other routes to take.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Cheers,

Micah
