Product images with affixed label clearly displaying Manufacturer or private labeler name

Hi, I am selling school lunch boxes and was asked for documentation. When I submitted the CPC and test results documents to child-safety@amazon.com, I got the reply below. Can you please explain what the message below means? I tried sending them the product images with our company name and logo and got the same message as before:

1. Please be informed that we can only accept product images. Therefore, kindly take clear photo(s) of the product with affixed label clearly displaying:

i) Manufacturer or private labeler name

ii) Warning label (as applicable)

Thank you.

This type of request is for the real-life photograph type -- not detail page type photos.

They want to clearly see all sides -- for a cube shape, that's all six sides. For a bottle, maybe five shots will do. If the item is small, hold it in hand for photo.

Make sure photos are high resolution so every printed word is crystal clear.

I understand you have concerns related to Children's products and product safety information.

There is not much more I can add here, as @bookwormapril is correct! Per the help page for marking and labeling requirements for children's products- we will request this information from you at any time, so we recommend that you have it easily accessible.

Tracking labels must meet the following requirements:

  • Be permanently affixed to the product and its packaging; and
  • Provide certain identifying information

All tracking labels must include the following information:

  • Name of the manufacturer, private labeler, or brand
  • Production date and production location (city, state, administrative region, or country)
  • Detailed information about the manufacturing process (such as the manufacturer or distributor code, a batch or run number, and any other identifying characteristics)
  • Any other information to describe the specific source of the product

Please do not hesitate to ask further questions or update us on the status of your next submission, as the forums community and I are here to support you.

All the best,
