A to Z Claim still not overturned even though buyer now STATES they received the item and WANT to pay
Has anyone ever had an experience like this? The item was somehow delayed in transit for several days and the buyer opened an A to Z claim stating lost package. The tracking showed delivered the night the claim was awarded to them. Amazon issued a refund but (I guess I should be thankful) didn't count it against my ODR. The next day the buyer messages me and says he received the package and that he must have overlooked it the night before. He stated all was good and he no longer needed the refund.
I send the verified UPS tracking AND the messages with the buyer stating this to appeal the A to Z claim. Amazon today responds saying "we understand your position but we stand by our original decision." WHAT?? The buyer literally stated that he received the item and wants to pay me for it and Amazon still won't overturn it and give me the money for my item. Does anyone know how to respond to get this reversed? It is literally mind blowing to me how awful Amazon support is that you can't ever get something fixed when the buyer themselves wants to pay you and retract the claim.
The entire A to Z claim process is unbelievably awful and inefficient for all parties. First of all Amazon makes you have to go to seller support to send them more information and reopen the case, just to have seller support forward it to them. Why not have the option on the A to Z claim page and bypass seller support completely?? Then wait 3 days for them to send the exact same auto response even though you not only have valid tracking but the buyer flat out stating they got the item. If it wasn't my money, it would be laughable how bad this entire process is. Can someone please help or has experienced a similar situation?

They would have refunded the buyer anyways due to it being delivered late.....Amazon has no mercy...

Hi @Seller_zrHuWz47MZMp3,
Tatiana from Amazon here -- I've just come across your post. Can you provide me with your order ID so I can take a closer look? I cannot guarantee any changes in A-to-Z claim resolution, but I can take a closer look in hopes of providing more of an explanation or you.
