FBA: Use new UPS address for ORF2 fulfillment center

If you use UPS to ship small parcels to our ORF2 fulfillment center in Chesapeake, Virginia, a new address is required to ensure that your shipments arrive properly and aren’t returned.

Due to limitations in their network operations, UPS can’t process large shipment volumes with labels addressed to the physical address of the ORF2 fulfillment center. To mitigate the issue, we’ve partnered with UPS to re-route freight by addressing shipments to a nearby, alternate UPS facility.

If you use a partnered carrier and print labels in Seller Central, we’ll automatically generate shipping labels with the correct, alternate address.

If you arrange your own shipping with UPS, you must print labels with the alternate address. You can continue to use the physical address for ORF2 when shipping with other carriers.

The addresses are as follows:

This is the problem with the new Send to Amazon.
Is best for small parcels and not LTL shipments.
Small parcels take less time to process while LTL shipments is taking twice as much effort.
Boooooo to the new send to Amazon.

I was forced to send to this address instead of my normal Charlotte address. Not really a problem, but the tracking says “The service selected is not available to this destination address. This has delayed delivery.” and the boxes are in limbo somewhere. VERY concerning. I hope my boxes get to the warehouse sooner rather than later and don’t get returned to me.

It looks liek the address should be 9601 instead of 9603 I get an error message when I enter 9603 and even Google maps doesn’t recognize 9603

Could that be a typo on the announcements?
